Research/Scholarship:  
Dr. Wilson has multiple publications, book chapters and research projects in the area of palliative care physical therapy, which entails advanced cancers, late stage chronic disease management and frail older adults. He is active in researching the role of physical therapists in safe and healthy aging in place, including adults in palliative care and with life-limiting illnesses. Dr. Wilson is a co-editor of the book "Cancer Rehabilitation: A Comprehensive Guidebook for Clinicians," published by Elsevier in 2022, and co-author of the book "Physical Activity and Rehabilitation in Life-threatening Illness," published by Routledge in 2021. He is the co-principal investigator of the research project entitled Home-Based Older Persons Upstreaming Physical Therapy (HOP-UP-PT). He has obtained approximately $1,000,000 in external grant funding examining fall prevention and safe aging in place.
