Artificial Intelligence

The growth of Artificial Intelligence and its use in the development of systems that can reason and respond to increasingly complex situations has increased demand for individuals who can create complex systems that can partner with, rather than replace or even augment, human users.

Artificial Intelligence (is an area of study that explores how to create computer programs that learn to make decisions, reason about data, and communicate with humans. Artificial Intelligence master’s program will prepare engineers to take full advantage of opportunities in this field. In the MS in AI degree program, students learn to apply creative thinking, algorithmic design, and coding skills to build modern AI systems. The program prepares students to work as Artificial Intelligence Engineers in information technology companies or pursue a Ph.D. in computer science.

The highly advanced curriculum is designed to deeply explore AI areas through multiple concentrations. Students will engage in an extensive core intended to develop depth in all the core concepts that build a foundation for artificial intelligence theory and practice. Also, they will be given the opportunity to build on the core knowledge of AI by taking a variety of elective courses to explore key contextual areas or more complex technical AI applications.

Concentrations:

  • Edge AI and IoT
  • Embedded AI
  • Human-Centered AI, Autonomous systems and Robotics
  • Machine Learning Concentration
  • Smart Manufacturing, Machine Vision and Industry 4.0
  • Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps)
  • AI for Cyber Security and Trustworthy AI
  • Augmented/Virtual Reality
  • Ethics of AI
