RN-BSN Deadlines

Priority Deadline May 15, 2027 for Fall 2027 - Enrollment is limited to 70 seats. The Nursing Completion Sequence program has reached capacity for the Fall 2026 semester and is no longer accepting applications. We encourage interested applicants to apply for the Fall 2027 semester.

Previous Nursing Credits

Any applicant who has been dismissed from a nursing program or has ever received two or more nursing course grades of B- or lower must first obtain approval from the SON to apply to the BSN or ASD BSN track.

This process consists of submitting a letter of explanation regarding what events lead to substandard grades and what they have done to insure their success in the future as well as completing and submitting the Student Academic Standing Inquiry Form. Once the form and letter are submitted, the request will be reviewed by a SON committee. To obtain the Student Academic Standing Inquiry Form click here. The Student Academic Standing Inquiry Form can be completed by either opening the form within your OU email using DocHub, using Adobe Acrobat or printing it out. Once completed, submit the form to [email protected]. Applicants must be fully admitted to Oakland University before beginning this process.

Education Verifications

If you graduated from an undergraduate or graduate nursing program, please download and complete the SON Education Graduation Request Form.

If you completed a Continuing Education LPN, PCT, or CNA program at the Riverview Institute or Focus Hope, please submit a request through this form.

Requests will be processed in the order they are received. Please submit one request only and allow up to four weeks for processing. Questions about your request should be directed to [email protected].
