Biography:

Raji George is a Full time Adjunct Nursing instructor at Oakland University. She originally obtained her Bachelor of science degree in Nursing(BSN) from India in 2001. She attended Wayne State University(2015-2018) and graduated with her Doctor of Nursing Practice(DNP) in 2018. She is a  Board certified Family Nurse practitioner who is qualified to practice in both primary care and psychiatric settings. She diagnoses, treats and prescribes medications to adults and children for all primary care and mental health conditions. While working as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she returned to pursue a Postdoctoral certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner(PMHNP) from Saginaw Valley State University(SVSU) and graduated in August, 2021.

Clinical Expertise:

She primarily works at an outpatient family practice office, and provides primary care and mental health services to clients across the life span. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she has spent several years working as a bedside nurse in a variety of clinical settings(Emergency room, Home care, and critical care).
