As the Market Chief Financial Officer at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital, Danielle Jacks Porter leads the financial operations of the 1,101-bed flagship academic medical center in Royal Oak, Michigan. Danielle intently embraces her organization’s vision to make health simple, affordable, equitable and exceptional for all.

Previous to her role at Corewell Health, Danielle served as an executive financial leader at both McLaren Health Care and Tenet Healthcare. Her role at McLaren was focused on rural and critical access health serving as Regional Chief Financial Officer with oversight of McLaren Bay Region, McLaren Caro Region and McLaren Thumb Region. Prior to her role at McLaren, Danielle built most of her career at the Detroit Medical Center, ultimately serving as Chief Financial Officer at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital and leading through the transitions to Vanguard Health and later to Tenet Healthcare.

Danielle has formed great partnerships throughout her career with industry and hospital leaders and supporting health care funding advocacy. Danielle volunteers on the Michigan Hospital Association Healthcare Finance Committee and has recently joined serving on the steering committee of the Corewell Health and Oakland University Nursing Scholars Program. As a previous volunteer mentor in her organization’s leadership development program, Danielle is passionate about building a team of future healthcare leaders.

Danielle earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Walsh College and her Bachelor of Applied Arts (BAA) in Public Health Administration from Central Michigan University.

Outside of her professional life, Danielle enjoys and cherishes time with her family including her husband and three married daughters, their husbands and three grandchildren.
