Arthur Griggs is retired from a 30-year career at Oakland University as assistant vice president of Academic Affairs. Prior to this position, Griggs served as assistant dean in the School of Health Sciences at Oakland. During this time, he was involved in both the Study to Determine the Adequacy of Medical and Health Professional Education in the Oakland University General Area (1978-1980) and the early Steering Committee activities (2008-2009) of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Prior to coming to OU, he was a senior research assistant in the Oncology Research Laboratory at Providence Hospital.
