Research/Scholarship:
Dr. Dallo has published over 35 manuscripts and several book chapters on the health of Arab-and Chaldean-Americans, who are classified as “white” by the federal government. To disaggregate them from whites, she uses ancestry and surname data from the US Census, national health studies, state specific surveys, hospital data sets, and community samples. She was a Kellogg health disparities scholar and has received funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Michigan Center for Urban African American Aging Research, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation.
