Students interested in pursuing a business major or minor live together in Hamlin Hall.

What They Do
The Business Special Interest Floor is here to help you:

• Develop a deeper understanding of Oakland’s business program
• Build strong connections with OU students, staff and faculty members
• Enrich your education academically and socially
  
• Engage in experiential learning business practices
• Participate in academic success and leadership workshops

Who Lives Here?
First-year students interested in pursuing a career in mechanical, electrical, computer, and industrial and systems engineering live together with other future engineers on a designated floor in Hamlin Hall.

What They Do
Students who reside on the Engineering and Computer Science Special Interest Floor:

• Live in a supportive environment, on the same floor with other engineering students who share common academic goals
• Participate in off-site field trips and opportunities to experience real-world engineering application
• Work with academic advisers to ease the transition into college and enhance student success

Who Lives Here?
First-year students interested in pursuing a major or minor in Health Sciences or a related field live together on a designated floor in Hamlin Hall.

What They Do
Students residing on the Health Sciences Special Interest Floor:

• Live in a supportive environment that provides them with educational experiences outside of the classroom.
• Make connections with other residents that share a common interest and academic goals, and with student Housing staff members able to provide support and programming related to Health Sciences.
• Participate in intentional programs and field-trips relevant to their field of study.
• Build connections with dedicated faculty and staff members from the School of Health Sciences.
