In addition to teaching, Jessica is a Certified Life Coach. She enjoys bringing the motivational and goal-achieving skills from coaching training into her classroom to help students achieve their learning goals and create an interactive and student centered learning environment.

Jessica loves learning, and currently enjoys listening to learning lectures, podcasts and courses in subjects such as cultural studies, history, literature, rhetoric, philosophy and psychology. She also runs a raucous book club of fellow readers. In addition, she enjoys reading (of course!), travel, and eighties pop music.
