Music enthusiast, choral educator, and life-long learner, Dr. Colleen McNickle is thrilled to be a visiting professor at Oakland University. In addition to her work at OU, McNickle is the artistic director of Good Treble, assistant conducts the Detroit Concert Choir, and maintains a voice and piano studio.

With a Ph.D. in Music Education and Choral Cognate from Michigan State University, McNickle has conducted choirs and presented research and practice sessions regionally, nationally, and internationally. She previously taught undergraduate and graduate music education courses and choirs in Michigan and Arkansas, as well as middle and high school choir and music courses in Illinois.
