Combined Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies/Master of Public Administration (B.I.S./MPA)

This combined bachelor-master degree program provides high-achieving students an opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (B.I.S.) and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in less time than completing the two degrees independently. Students can complete four graduate-level Public Administration courses while pursuing their bachelor's degree, with up to 13 graduate credits counting toward their undergraduate requirements at undergraduate tuition rates. This allows students to make significant progress toward their MPA before completing their bachelor's degree.

Interested students are eligible to apply after earning a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA and completing at least four undergraduate courses at the 3000 or 4000 level. Students must also receive delayed admission to the MPA program and maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA upon completion of their bachelor's degree to gain formal admission into the master's program.
