Curriculum

With the Oakland University Online MBA program, you’ll learn from experts. Nearly all of Oakland University’s business faculty members are full-time professors, subject matter experts and leading researchers in their respective fields. Leaders in the industry participate as part-time instructors, guest lecturers and speakers who bring relevant real-world experience to augment your learning.

The Online MBA program is between 36-48 credits (excluding prerequisites) depending on the student’s prior academic preparation.

Oakland also offers a full suite of graduate business programs in addition to the Online MBA.

Integrative Policy Course (3 credits)

This capstone course that integrates knowledge from program in the analysis of real-world cases is required of all MBA candidates.

MGT 5350 Policy, Strategy and Goals 

Students in the Online MBA program have the option of adding a concentration in HR Management. This specialization provides more thorough background in human resource management and personnel. To earn the concentration, a student must take ORG 6310 and minimum of two additional electives from the list of approved classes.
