This is our house. We gather, live, study, rest, collaborate, socialize, meet and eat here. Oakland University is where we grow; the Oakland Center is where we thrive.

SPECIAL NOTICE: 
Due to continuing emergency repairs at Oakland University the Oakland Center will be running limited operations beginning on Monday, December 1, 2025. 

Building hours will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, until further notice. To enter the OC, please use the Northeast entrance (#13), located near P2 facing O'Dowd Hall. 

Please prepare in advance and schedule your visit to the Oakland Center with the specific office you are visiting. Entry into the building will based primarily on appointment only. Students are not allowed to use the open spaces in the OC for studying or other general use. This includes the Grizz Den and Reflection Room.

Food service is currently limited to Hillcrest Hall (Hillcrest Dining Hall and the Hive), and all locations in the OC are currently closed.

The Oakland Center hosts formal and informal conferences and events, student organization offices and meetings spaces, the Pioneer Food Court, Oakland University Credit Union, and the Oakland University Gear Shop!
