Intern Housing

Stay on one of the safest campuses in the nation (Ranked #7 by Academic Influence)! Located on the border of Auburn Hills and Rochester Hills, Oakland University has quick and easy access to I-75, is minutes away from several grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and more. On campus amenities include a Recreation Center, the Oakland Center, Meadow Brook Hall, and the Meadow Brook Amphitheater.

During the normal academic year, September through April, limited rooms in suite style residence halls are available. Included in the rent payment are amenities such as Wi-Fi, shared kitchens, laundry, and parking.

Summer 2025 Intern Housing

Oakland University is excited to provide Summer Intern Housing in 2025. Here are the important details for the coming summer:

• Available May 11, 2025 through August 9, 2025, with flexible arrival and departure dates
• There is a minimum 30-night stay required for intern housing
• $42 per night, with a $2 per night discount if paying by check or ACH
• All interns will live in the Ann V. Nicholson Apartments
  • Four bedroom, two bathroom apartments
  • Fully furnished and air-conditioned
  • Full kitchen and washer/dryer in each unit
• Wi-Fi, parking, and recreation center access are all included
• Interns rent by the bedroom, not the entire apartment
  • No requirement to find additional intern roommates, we can do the matching for you
  • Matching based on multiple priorities, including requested roommates, gender, and employer
• On-campus dining available
• No family units are available, this is for individual interns only

Oakland University we will begin sending out Summer 2025 Intern Housing contracts in January 2025.
