Payment plan installments
The payment plan is for current semester charges only. The payment plan for summer opens March 21. If you have charges from a prior semester, they must be paid outside of the payment plan. Payments will always pay prior charges first before applying as a current payment plan installment payment. Please pay your payment plan installments by their due date.

Late payments
If you cannot make your payment(s) by April 15, please contact us at (248) 370-2550. We are ready to work with you and make arrangements to keep you in good financial standing.

*Students who are canceled (dropped) from classes may have their tuition charges reversed. Students may re-register for classes based on class availability as long as registration is still open; new tuition charges need to be paid immediately. Students who are canceled (dropped) from housing will have their charges adjusted according to University Housing's Policies.

How to Pay

Be proactive in paying your OU charges on time to stay enrolled in your classes and university housing (if applicable). You can pay your balance in full:

If your charges are not paid in full by the due date or if you have not signed up for a payment plan and made all required payments, you may be canceled (dropped) from your classes and university housing (if applicable). Students who are canceled (dropped) from classes will have their tuition charges reversed. Students who are canceled (dropped) from housing will have their charges adjusted according to University Housing's Policies.

If you’re canceled (dropped) because your current semester charges have not been paid in full, you can re-register for classes based on class availability as long as registration is still open. If you’re canceled (dropped) because your past semester charges have not been paid in full, you can re-register based on class availability once the prior balance is paid in full. If you re-register for one or more credits, you must contact University Housing to reapply for housing as space is available. In all scenarios, all new tuition charges must be paid immediately.
