Community Engagement

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Making a difference beyond campus

Oakland University shines throughout surrounding communities: locally, regionally, statewide, nationally and internationally. As a leader in academia, you can serve the needs and aspirations of our communities through research, teaching and service.

We aim to partner university knowledge and resources with the community to:

  • Enrich scholarship, research and creative activity
  • Address critical societal issues
  • Enhance curriculum, teaching and learning
  • Prepare educated, engaged citizens

Already blazing a trail of enrichment and connection? We want to hear and support your stories. Share your community work with us.
