Generous donors to the School of Education and Human Services have made possible several tuition awards for undergraduate students. Students enrolled in any undergraduate program in the SEHS may apply. An award committee will select the awardee(s) based on exemplary student achievement, dedicated community service, commitment to your profession, and/or financial need. The winner(s) will be notified of the award by mail.
Criteria for the $1,000 (amount may vary) SEHS Undergraduate Tuition Award:
- A full time undergraduate student in the School of Education and Human Services
- Cumulative grade point average of at least 2.8
- Completed at least one semester at Oakland University
- An essay of 500 or more words describing your academic achievement, involvement in your community, defined professional objectives and/or financial need
Recipients are eligible to reapply for the Undergraduate Tuition Award in future years.
