2026 Summer Camps: Grades 2-12
Philosophy Camp
Grades: 9th-12th, July 13-17, 2026
Philosophy Camp is an overnight summer camp that provides high school students and undergraduates with an opportunity that combines learning, leadership and humor.
Our theme for 2026 will be “Fact and Fiction”. Emily Dickinson once wrote, “Tell all the truth, but tell it slant / Success in circuit lies”. Do people who work in the arts tell the truth slant, or are they not concerned with telling the truth at all? Does art describe the world or shape it – or perhaps shape ourselves? And what about other forms of media? What responsibility does a journalist, a podcaster, or social media poster have to tell the truth when they speak – or can they justify lying because it might promote the common good?
Need-based scholarships available!
Camp Fee (includes five days/four nights): $650
