Arrive a student and leave a dancer when you join Oakland University’s Dance Program which is committed to innovative, high standard pre-professional training. We provide elite opportunities which prepare students for the transition from student to dance professional.

Students have the opportunity to apprentice and work alongside Michigan’s premiere dance company, the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble, which is Oakland University’s resident professional company. And our two student dance companies, the Oakland Dance Theatre and the Oakland University Repertory Dance Company, offer numerous performance opportunities.

OU's dance program is one of only 75 university programs in the nation accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance.
