Join President Ora Hirsch Pescovitz for the 2026 State of the University, an opportunity to reflect on where Oakland stands today and the priorities that will guide the university in the year ahead.
President Pescovitz’s address will highlight progress and accomplishments from across Oakland, recognize the people helping move the university forward and look ahead to the work still to come. Voices from across the OU community will help bring those stories and priorities to life.
What would you like to hear about?
Faculty and staff are encouraged to share topics or questions they would like President Pescovitz to address when registering. Responses from across campus will help inform the State of the University remarks.

A reception will follow the program, and in-person attendees will receive a surprise book.
