Combined B.S.(E.)/M.S. Programs

Ambitious students can fast track their careers with combined bachelor’s/master’s degree options. These accelerated pathways allow to earn two degrees faster, saving time and money while students build advanced, in demand skills that set them apart in a competitive job market.

Combined bachelor’s/master’s programs provide an opportunity to complete a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in less time that would be necessary if the two degrees were obtained independently. SECS offers 13 combined degree programs across three departments: Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

To be eligible for a combined B.S./M.S. option in any computer science and engineering discipline, students must:

  1. Have an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  2. Apply for and receive delayed admission into the M.S. program after reaching junior standing.
  3. Maintain a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA to completion of the undergraduate degree.
