The Department of Educational Leadership is a nationally recognized leader in providing outstanding graduate education.
We offer outstanding graduate programs including a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership, Masters of Education in Teacher Leadership, Post-Masters Certificate in Higher Education, Education Specialist Degree in Leadership, and Doctor of Philosophy in Education with an Educational Leadership Concentration.

To apply for the state-issued certificate, please visit the Certification Renewal page.
Under "Applications" click on Administrative Certificate. This will take you directly to the application along with directions for submission.
Oakland University students or alumni who have graduated with either the Masters Degree in Educational Leadership or the Education Specialist Degree in either School Administration or Leadership are eligible for the State of Michigan's K-12 Administrative Certificate with the Basic Endorsement for Building Level Leadership.
