Bio
Kyle Edwards is Associate Professor of Film at Oakland University, where he teaches courses in film history and theory, media industries, and film genres. His research on the industrial history of Hollywood has appeared in a variety of academic journals and edited collections. Professor Edwards is currently working on a book-length manuscript examining the history of the Hollywood B-Film from the 1930s through the 1950s. He also serves as associate editor of Routledge’s Creative Industries Journal.
