Incoming freshman and transfer students can use this scholarship search to determine which Oakland University scholarship awards they may qualify for.* 

New students will automatically be considered for academic merit scholarships if they apply by the following deadlines:  

Fall 2012 freshman students: March 1, 2012
Winter 2012 transfer students:  December 1, 2011
Fall 2012 transfer students: August 1, 2012

Note that there is no separate application for OU merit scholarships, but some awards (such as the Alumni Legacy Award, Music Theatre Dance scholarships, and international student scholarships) do require an additional application process.
