Only students admitted to the Honors College by the deadline may apply
Final deadline for applications will be February 28th.
Scholarships are awarded to Honors College students who have demonstrated leadership and/or show need. The amount of each scholarship and its requirements are shown below. All scholarships require a 3.5 GPA for consideration unless otherwise stated. Full time enrollment is required.
□ J. Alford Jones Memorial Scholarship – Minimum award $1,000, maximum award $2,000 based on need and/or leadership. Open to Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior students in good standing. GPA requirement may be waived for extreme
need
or exceptional leadership.
□ David and Marion Handleman Scholarship - $4,000 scholarships awarded to students in good standing in The Honors College and renewable for up to 5 years for students who remain in good standing and reapply each year. Open to Freshman,
Sophomore, Junior and Senior students. *Students are required to attend any acknowledgement event connected to the award.
□ Honors College Scholarship – Awards from $500 to $2,000. Open to Juniors and Seniors in good standing.
□ Credit Union One CO Award - $2,000 scholarships awarded to incoming freshmen.3.5 GPA and 25 ACT are required. *Students are required to attend any acknowledgement event connected to the award. By accepting this award you are agreeing to
allow Credit Union ONE to publish your picture and name in a press release announcing the award.
□ Credit Union One COS Award – Full-ride for the first year including tuition, room and board, and book stipend of $500 per semester for incoming freshmen. Applicants must have a 3.8 GPA and 31 ACT to be eligible to apply. * Students are required to
attend any acknowledgement event connected to the award. By accepting this award you are agreeing to allow Credit Union ONE to publish your picture and name in a press release announcing the award.
