He is a Certified Pool Operator through the Aquatic Council, ensuring Rec Well’s aquatic facilities remain safe, compliant, and high-performing. As a Certified CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor with the American Red Cross, he has trained hundreds of participants across multiple organizations—empowering students, staff, and community members with life-saving skills. David also serves on the Board of Directors for Summer in the City Detroit, a nonprofit focused on youth empowerment and neighborhood revitalization, where he supports mission-driven community service initiatives.
