Celebrating Student Success and the Value of an OU Degree
Our students’ success showcases the value of a degree from Oakland University, where we rank at the top among competitors for value, pride, support, success, preparation and location, year after year. It’s why we prioritize the Student Success pathway as part of our Strategic Vision 2030. It’s why The Wall Street Journal America’s Best Colleges 2026 ranks OU second for enhancing students’ social mobility and fourth for best salaries for undergraduates among the state’s public universities. And it’s how our students thrive when their education connects with hands-on learning through The OU Pledge, which is our commitment to provide undergraduate students with opportunities for meaningful, experience-based learning.
Discover Your Future Magazine: Post-graduation Survey Results
The Career and Life Design Center continually assesses the quantity and quality of the opportunities and services we provide. We also assess the post-graduation outcomes of recent graduates each year in accordance with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). New results are posted every Winter semester for the previous academic year.
Below, we are proud to share the results of our First-Destination Survey for 2024-25 and 2023-24 alumni, whose experience-based learning opportunities at OU have empowered them to step confidently into their futures. Survey results and alumni success stories are separated out by school. Please contact the Career and Life Design Center at [email protected] for more information.
