Biography

Felicita Arzu-Carmichael currently serves as Director of the Embedded Writing Specialist program, President of the International Employee Resource Group, and Associate Editor of College English. Her research and teaching center race, technology, inclusion, and rhetorics of space and place. She has led many workshops and presented at regional and national conferences on topics including online writing instruction, place conscious pedagogy, feminist activism in online spaces, social justice approaches to the teaching of writing, and writing program administration. Her work has appeared in Technical Communication Quarterly, Constellations, Writing Program Administration, Composition Studies, and Prompt.
