AI Curriculum and Resources
The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and Michigan Virtual are guiding AI technology integration by focusing on responsible, ethical and instructional use rather than a single mandated curriculum. Initiatives include AI literacy resources for teachers, guidance for school districts on policy and integrating AI into computer science standards to prepare students for the future.
For specific resources, visit the MDE’s AI for Instructional Purposes guide and the Michigan Virtual AI Resource page, which include the most current guidance.
