Committees

The Board of Trustees establishes committees to assist in carrying out its responsibilities and defines each committee’s duties and functions. The university’s president or their designee serves as a member of each committee — and the board appoints a chair for each committee. While committee meetings are not required to be public, all committee reports and recommendations are made to the board at public meetings.

Audit Committee
The committee supports the board’s oversight of the university’s financial reporting, audit practices, compliance obligations and risk management processes. It works to ensure transparency, accountability and continued strong stewardship of institutional resources.
