Biography:
Dr. Joseph E. Carolan has been a member of the faculty in the Department of Economics at the Oakland University (Michigan) School of Business Administration since 2013.  Dr. Carolan is a principal in Carolan Associates, LLC, a business consulting firm specializing in alternative energy projects, renewable power generation and environmental credit markets.  He has been active in alternative energy development, financial analysis, and business consulting since 1998.

Introductory micro & macro-economics, Economics of Strategy / Managerial Economics, Statistics, Economics of Information

Research interests:
Energy (some emphasis on Value Chains in 2nd & 3rd generation biofuels), Value Chain Intervention, Applied Business Economics cases
