Biography:
Jennifer Cordon Thor is an Associate Professor of Management at Oakland University's School of Business Administration. She teaches courses about the legal environment of business and business ethics. Dr. Thor is also a licensed attorney. Prior to joining Oakland University, she practiced law in the State of Michigan where she represented individuals and businesses both inside and outside of the courtroom. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University, James Madison College. Dr. Thor is a former research attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals and for the 19th District Court for the State of Michigan. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan and in the Federal District Courts. Dr. Thor's research can be found in the Real Estate Law Journal, the Journal of Legal Studies Education, the Midwest Law Journal, the Southern Law Journal and the Journal of Critical Incidents.

Real Estate Development, Condominium Development, Common Interest Ownership Associations, Consumer Protection, Ethics, Employment Discrimination, Disability Rights.
