Biography:
Amy Rutledge is a Special Instructor of Management Information Systems at Oakland University. Before joining OU full time, she worked as a Project Manager at Chrysler LLC, and as a Business Analyst for Handleman Company. Additionally, Amy has consulted for companies on their Balanced Scorecard initiatives. Amy led the 2014 and 2015 TEDxOaklandUniversity conferences bringing over 50 “TEDx speakers” to campus. Amy writes for Pearson Education and is the co-author of Exploring Office 2021, Exploring Office 2019, Exploring Office 2016, Exploring Office 2013, Practical Computing 3e and several other textbook supplements. She has "programmed" assignments for Pearson's myLabIT Grader projects which are auto-graded by the system.

Teaching interests: 
Intro to MIS, Information Security, Productivity Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access), Project Management, Databases.

Research interests: 
I would be interested in the following: Teaching with Technology and Teaching Effectiveness, Project Management, Adoption of New Technology in Business and for Personal Use.
