How to Apply
Thank you for your interest in applying to Oakland University! Select the appropriate link to view application instructions. From there, you can apply for admission to the university.

 

Freshman Students – High school graduates who are entering college for the first time.
Transfer Students – Students who have attended one or more post secondary institution before applying to Oakland University.
International Students – Students who plans to attend Oakland University on a student visa (F-1) or an exchange visa (J-1).
Second-Degree Students – Students who have a BA/BS or equivalent degree and want to obtain another undergraduate degree.
Post-Baccalaureate Students – Students who have a BA/BS or equivalent degree and want to take additional courses not related to an additional degree.
Guest Students – Students who currently attend or are eligible to return to another college or university, and would like to temporarily enroll in OU courses, typically for the purpose of transferring them back to their home institution.
Home School Students – Students who completed high school through the home-school process.
Dual-Enrolled High School Students – High school students who wish to take courses at OU prior to graduation.
Return to Learn Students – Students who have been out of school for two years and do not have a postsecondary degree.
GED Students – Students who have obtained high-school diploma equivalency through the GED process.
