Why I joined the Board: When I was informed that an Honors College Board of Visitors was forming, I knew this was an opportunity that I had to be a part of! Given the amazing experiences and support I had as a student of the Honors College, I wanted to join this board to ensure future students had similar opportunities for growth and success while at OU. Continuing to be a part of the Honors College community following graduation has provided great networking, support, and has provided me a platform to give back to the community that has given so much to me. The Honors College is ever growing and always excelling toward the next great opportunity for their students, which has been a tremendous path to be a part of! This board is filled with a diverse group of amazing individuals who have come together with the common goal to provide spectacular opportunities and support to the Honors College, a goal I am truly passionate and excited to be a part of!

Best HC Memories: My favorite HC memory was attending the National Conference of Undergraduate Research (NCUR) in 2016. The amazing opportunity allowed me to travel to Asheville, North Carolina on behalf of the Honors College and present my scientific research findings on a national platform. Traveling with a fellow HC peer and faculty, this experience allowed me to showcase my findings and positively represent the OU HC, while exploring the culture and opportunities the city of Asheville has to offer!
