Recipients of this scholarship will receive $1,000 towards campus housing and become a "Moceri Scholar".  This opportunity provided by the Moceri family is another significant step in building upon what is already known about Oakland University.  "Junior and Senior standing students of the Honors College selected as Moceri Scholars will “embrace and pursue the three leadership qualities of empathy, collaboration and vision when considering our future national and global economic, social and individual successes,” according to Honors College Dean Graeme Harper.

Those chosen for the Moceri Scholars program will be selected according to academic merit, evidence of visionary and aspirational thinking, and commitment to helping others.  They will host visiting speakers and hold discussion events on key global, national and local themes.
