Oakland University's Secondary Teacher Education Program (STEP) is open to undergraduate students pursuing an approved baccalaureate degree in the College of Arts and Sciences. STEP is also OU's undergraduate "certification only" option available to college graduates. Students interested in STEP should seek academic advising from the
College of Arts and Sciences Advising Office until they reach the first education course, SED 300
Introduction to Secondary Education.
