Oakland University mourns the loss of Dr. Glenn McIntosh, Senior Vice President for Student Affairs and Chief Diversity Officer, who passed away last week. A transformative leader, Glenn dedicated his career to advancing student success, inclusion and well-being across our campus community.

Respected for his integrity and compassion, Glenn championed equity and belonging, creating programs and opportunities that uplifted generations of students. He was not only a visionary leader but also a mentor, advocate and friend to countless colleagues and students.

While we grieve his passing, we also honor and celebrate his legacy—a legacy of service, kindness and unwavering commitment to Oakland University. His impact will endure in the lives he touched and in the culture of respect and belonging he helped build.
