Pre-Pharmacy (Concentration)

Students enrolled in OU's pre-pharmacy program begin earning an undergraduate baccalaureate degree while preparing for a seamless transition into the pharmacy program at Wayne State University's nationally accredited Doctorate of Pharmacy program.

The pre-pharmacy concentration is designed for students who wish to pursue an advanced degree in Pharmacy from Wayne State University. Graduates who complete the B.S. in Health Sciences with a pre-pharmacy concentration and the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) from Wayne State University may go on to work as an academic pharmacist, community pharmacist, hospital staff pharmacist, public health service pharmacist, or veterinary pharmacist.
