EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

The department of Human Development and Child Studies offers early childhood education programs at the undergraduate and graduate level. 

Undergraduate students working on a bachelor’s degree in elementary education have the option to also include coursework for the ZS (early childhood general and special education) teaching endorsement.

Oakland University is now partnering with the T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® Michigan scholarship program to provide tuition assistance to eligible students pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education or related major at Oakland University.
