Information for Casual/Temporary Employees
New Hire Paperwork
Please print, complete, and bring to your first orientation. This is usually on your first day over in 430 Wilson Hall. Please verify with Kim Crawford at (248) 370-3489.- Employee Information Form

- Payroll Direct Deposit Form (Select Direct Deposit Form from the menu)
Hire must complete a casual/temporary application online. The website is https://jobs.oakland.edu. Create an account, click on home, casual/temporary positions, find the casual/temporary direct hire position and apply for it by filling in the application. You will receive a confirmation number once you have completed the application.
In addition, you MUST bring:
- Identification and employment eligibility documents - (Please see the last page of the I-9 document for acceptable types of identification)
- Social security card - We will need to see your original social security card to verify that we are entering your name onto our payroll records exactly as you are known by the IRS.
- Banking information for direct deposit - We need either a voided check or a letter from your bank on their letterhead with your name, account number and routing number.
