Harassment Prevention Training

Oakland University is committed to maintaining a community in which everyone can work and learn together in an atmosphere free of all forms of discrimination and violence, including sexual assault and harassment. Sexual assault and harassment violate the dignity of the individual and the integrity of the University, therefore, such behavior will not be tolerated at OU. The University will take appropriate steps to prevent and eliminate this prohibited conduct, and address its effects. As members of the OU community, we all play a part in developing and maintaining a safe and supportive social and learning environment.

All faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to complete sexual harassment and sexual assault awareness and prevention training as required by the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 ("VAWA"). OU is proud to partner with our vendor, Everfi, to offer the Harassment Prevention Training Program. This interactive online program is designed to raise awareness and prevent sexual assault, stalking, and dating and domestic violence.

This online training should take approximately forty-five minutes to complete. The interactive online program is designed to raise awareness and prevent sexual assault, stalking and dating and domestic violence.
