Kristen Gribbin, M.F.A.

Lecturer, Theatre

Kristen has been the properties director for Meadow Brook Theatre, right here on Oakland University’s campus, for more than 15 years where she has overseen props for over 75 shows.

Her experience made her a good choice as lecturer for the Properties Practicum class in 2019. She holds an M.F.A. in Theatre from Wayne State University with an emphasis in Scenic Design, and a B.F.A. in Architectural Illustration from Lawrence Technological University.

She has also designed and painted sets for Peanut Gallery Players, The Encore Musical Theatre, Planet Ant, Water Works Theatre Company, the JET, Performance Network and the Hilberry and Bonstelle theatres at Wayne State.
