Current Ambassadors

More than 350 OU alumni who reside in more than 20 states are engaged with the AAAP. They have contributed close to 800 volunteer hours to the university at more than 115 undergraduate recruitment events — a true testament to the pride and spirit of our alumni!

Alumni ambassadors are trained extensively before attending events. They have broad knowledgeable in OU’s history, available undergraduate and graduate courses, and cost and aid. But don’t fret — you do not need to be an expert in these subjects. Most important is your personal experience with these areas.

After signing up to be an ambassador, you’ll receive the volunteer handbook, which is packed with all the information you need to successfully represent OU. If you have not received a volunteer handbook in the mail, please email aaap@oakland.edu and request a PDF copy.
