First Year Advising Center

The First Year Advising Center fosters exploration and growth as new students transition to college. We provide tailored services and connections to campus resources that empower students to define their educational goals and achieve academic success.

  
FYAC at-a-glance:

• Admitted for Fall 2024?
• • Register for New Student Orientation by visiting your admitted student portal here!
  • Your New Student Orientation in May, June or July will introduce you to your first year at OU and you will register for your first year courses. 
  • At your Campus Kickoff in August, you will visit campus, meet other new students, visit the Gear Shop, locate your classes, and explore student service spaces.
  • At the New Student Welcome on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, you will celebrate the start of the year with all new students and attend Convocation and Academic Open Houses.
