Senior Director Wayne Thibodeau Interviewed by Oakland County MegaCast

As part of an initiative to further promote the importance of students visiting Career Services early and often, Senior Director Wayne Thibodeau was interviewed on Oakland County Megacast Live on Monday, May 9.

"We are here to help our students be successful in their future careers or at the professional school level beyond their undergraduate level," Thibodeau said.

In addition to preparing students for the job market after graduation or their path to further education, Career Services is dedicated to promoting on-campus employment opportunities that offer students paid experience and flexibility.

"Many of our students are graduating with two or three internships - they are very competitive [and] very marketable to compete in the industry," Thibodeau said.

Thibodeau explained that since the pandemic, employers have created a hybrid recruitment model that Career Services is prepared to help students navigate when looking for opportunities. From keeping Handshake profiles up to date to polishing resumes, learning the art of salary negotiation and more, Career Services has the expertise to assist OU students and alumni with any career-related needs they may have.
