Ninety-four percent of full-time new undergraduates (transfer and first-time students) entering OU in Fall 2023 enrolled for the Winter 2024 semester. This represented a 2% increase from the previous year.
First-semester retention was highest for non-underrepresented minority (URM) students with 96 percent of transfer and 95 percent of first time in any college (FTIAC) students re-enrolling for the winter semester. First semester retention was lowest among female URM students with 88 percent of transfer and 89 percent of FTIAC students returning for the winter semester.
