Music Prep Division offers spring and summer classes

The Music Preparatory Division of the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance is offering several workshops and classes this spring and summer including a workshop for singers, music theory class and various music classes.
Beginning Acting for Singers, a new workshop for high school and adult singers, will be held in four Saturday sessions May 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 10 a.m. to noon. Prices for the four sessions are $80 for students who are already registered as an OU Music Preparatory Division student and $100 for non-preparatory division students.
A new music theory class will be offered for high school and adult music students. Interested persons can contact the Music Preparatory Division for details.
Early childhood music classes will be offered in the morning and late afternoon. Three separate age groups are available: Blue Birds for ages 1½ to 2, Robins for ages 3 to 4 and Cardinals for age 5.
Music classes also are offered for older children including Piano Readiness I for ages 4 to 5, Piano Readiness II for ages 5 to 6, Peer-Supported Piano Lesson for ages 6 to 7, Elementary Voice I for ages 7 to 8, and Elementary Voice II for ages 9 to 10.
All classes begin in May or June with most sessions running through spring and summer.
