The Oakland University Police Department is investigating a report of an attempted armed robbery said to have taken place at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.

A female student told police that she was walking in the P-5 parking lot, located immediately west of Oakview Hall,  when she was approached by a white four-door sedan occupied by two college-aged males.

The suspect in the passenger seat of the vehicle rolled down the window and pointed a black handgun with orange tip at her and said, “give me all your money.” This suspect is described as having a fade-style haircut.

As the complainant walked away from the vehicle towards the residence halls, the suspects reportedly left the area in the vehicle, heading north through the P5 lot.
