It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of Associate Professor Emeritus Thomas Wylie Blume, Ph.D., who passed away on April 20, 2025.
Dr. Blume joined Oakland University in the School of Education and Human Services Clinical Mental Health Department on August 15, 1995, where he served as an Associate Professor and Coordinator of Advanced Specialization in Couple and Family Counseling. He was also an affiliated faculty member with the OUWB School of Medicine until his retirement on August 15, 2017.
There are currently no services scheduled. Colleagues and friends are invited to leave fond memories and expressions of sympathy on the Dignity Memorial website.
